What do you do when you feel discouraged or sad?

Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! This week has been challenging for me. My emotions are on high. There is so much going on and that has happened in the last couple of months to distract me from the promises that our Lord Jesus Christ already has told me. So, what do I do when these feelings and emotions try and overpower my Lord’s voice? I Worship the Lord even harder, giving HIM all the Praise 👐 In the middle of your pain, HE is always present, working on our behalf, when everyone else checks out on you, God never forsakes you. Hallelujah! So I remain in Him, walking by Faith, regardless what comes. Why? Because I know what He has delivered me from. I want to share this Scripture with you all, may the Lord fill your house with His Glory, Be blessed in the name of Jesus! ❤

Exodus 14:13 But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just Stand Still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD Himself  will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Amen!

P.S. “The Egyptians” stands for any bad news, people, distractions, doctor reports, etc. that comes to try and destroy you.

Seek God. Stand Firm. Study His Word. Worship His Name. Choose wisely 😉 Be blessed. #forevagrateful #TOJESUS

A moment of weakness

Hey Lovies!

Been a minute since I posted. Had to take a break. Hope you are all doing well. Hanging on tight to God’s Love. Things have a way of happening. We all have moments where we are tired, tired of pushing through, your faith is weak, I call it a moment of weakness. But our God is Sovereign! He comes in like a flood and washes it all away, in time. You see this crazy feeling never ends, it’s what you choose at that moment that determines how the ride will be. This past Month has been tough for me. Keeping my thoughts in check. You see noone can overcome this without the power of our Lord Jesus. And even then, it is difficult. I know I struggle everyday, just some days are harder than others. So what do I do…I take it to the Lord and leave it at His feet, cover myself with His word and Prayer and listen to Praise and Worship music on blast💃 But sometimes the attacks are soooo much louder, that I fail to do this, and that’s when the devil creeps in. I had a moment of weakness, I let my guard down. I lost control of my thoughts, for a quick moment I forgot whose I am, THE KING OF THE THRONEs child! Its not a good feeling and the issue either gets bigger or more painful, which is why, I understand the importance of Putting on God’s Armor. It is an absolute necessity, the minute you are unarmed is the minute you fall. But the real question is will You stay under, or will you rise up with souring wings and claim your Victory in Jesus. Because like I said earlier,  only Jesus can help you bounce back and turn it All around for your good. Let’s rise up Mí gente…rise up to these evil spirits lingering waiting to creep in and take over. Rise up for God’s Kingdom, Rise up with God’s Armor. We all fall, but we can all rise up in the name of Jesus🙌

Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Psalm 94:19 When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy.

Psalm 97:2 Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Psalm 100:4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.

Thank You Jesus for allowing this moment of weakness, for reminding me whose in control, who Loves me no matter what, who has the last say, who provides ALL my needs. #TOJESUS These moments happen when God is trying to get your attention on something, Be Still, Obey and Praise Him through the storm.

Stay encouraged 😘 Blessings.

Apple Caramel Upside-down Cake

Hey Lovies! My hubby had bought a big bag of Apples. We love apples! So I decided to bake a cake for my beautiful family. And I must say it came out Delish! Hope you enjoy my recipe of this delicious treat.

¼ cup unsalted butter
½ cup light brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon             2-3 cloves                                                 4apples (peel, cored, thinly sliced)

Cake                                                         2cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup Coconut oil
⅔ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon almond
½ cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 inch cake pan well with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

To make the topping:
Add the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir well until the mixture is completely melted. Remove from the heat, pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan, and evenly spread it on the bottom. Arrange the apple slices in an even layer on top. Set aside.

To make the cake:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the coconut oil and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Slowly add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one. Add the almond and mix until fully combined.
Mix the dry ingredients and milk into the wet ingredients. Pour the batter into the cake pan on top of the apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before flipping over onto your cake dish. Delish! Top with Whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy 😆

Blessings 😘
